Evolution II EM water based ink jet ink formulated for use in the prepress proofing industry
Evolution II EM was developed for use in those applications requiring faithful reproduction of color such as the prepress proofing industry. Evolution's formulation uses dyes to deliver an exceptionally wide color gamut and patented technology to increase drying speed and the range of suitable media. Evolution II EM can be used on wide format aqueous inkjet printers from manufactures such as such as Epson®, Mutoh®, Mimaki® and Roland®. Pemla's 30 plus years of experience producing liquid inks assure inks of highest quality, while at the same time offering you significant savings over purchasing inks from the printer manufacturer. Evolution II EM is also available in extended gamut.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Colors are designed for easy replacement of conventional pigmented inks
- Clean, bright colors produce one of the widest gamuts in the industry -
Allows proofers to reach shades such as reflex blue that are normally impossible with pigmented inks - Carefully controlled surface tension and viscosity permits fine dot structure with very low dot gain on most substrates
- Reduced humectant levels mean lower risk of outgassing under glass
- To achieve the full potential of Evolutions's wide and extended gamut Pemla recommends the use of color profiles and suitable RIP software
SUBSTRATES
- Most matte papers
- Most photo and gloss papers
- Best results are obtained when printed on substrates that have been coated with special inkjet receptive formulation
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
- Commercial inkjet printing and color proofing
- Photo and art reproduction
- Not recommended for ‘archival’ work
